List of characters and their characteristics

  • The Simple Villagers
This character has no special powers. They just have to do their best to survive and help the other characters discover the werewolves.
  • The SeerThis character has the power to unmask the identity of a player of his choice when it is dark. The Seer must help uncover the identity of the Werewolves while keeping her own secret.
  • The Little GirlThis character has the power to watch for Werewolves at night by opening her eyes just a little. If the Little Girl is caught by the Werewolves, she will be eaten instead of the designated victim.
  • The HunterThis character has the power to eliminate a player of his choice by naming him. This power is activated when he is eaten by the Werewolves or when he is eliminated by the other players.
  • The WitchThis character can concoct two very powerful potions. One can heal a player who is a victim of Werewolves and the other can eliminate a player by acting as a poison. The Witch can only use one of these potions during the night and only once (once to heal and once to eliminate during the whole game)
  • CupidCupid must designate two players to form a couple throughout the game (including Cupid if he wishes). If one of the players who forms the couple is eliminated, then the other will also be automatically eliminated (he will be dead of grief). If one of the players in the pairing is a Werewolf, then the pairing will have to do their best to survive until the end of the game. The goal of the couple is to be the last survivors and hopefully win the game to live out their love.
  • The CaptainAll players must elect this character at the beginning of the game. As a special power, he has two votes and must designate a player to replace him before he dies or is eliminated.
  • The ThiefAdd two simple villager cards when you play this character. After the cards are dealt, two cards face down will be placed in the center of the table. When the first night falls, the Thief may swap his card with one of the cards in the center of the table. If he gets a Werewolf role, he will have to play that role until the end of the game.
  • WerewolvesWerewolves have the objective of devouring all the villagers to win the game. They can devour one villager per night. Beware! During the night they are monsters, but during the day they are villagers like everyone else. That’s why it’s difficult to detect them.
